How Bacteria Replicates? Binary Fission

Bacteria replicate by the term "binary fission". When bacteria duplicate, the cells simply turn into two (fission). If this is all that happened, then one cell would have DNA and the other cell would have none. Therefore, before any cell can divide it must first make a copy of its DNA so that each new cell gets its own copy. Comment if you know any other ways of bacteria replication.
